3. Summer outfit inspiration!

Heey everyone!

This is my first actual post in the blog, sorry I'm writing this late but I promise to keep posting things and if I'm not, Mire is doing an excellent job around here, the first posts are amazing and really useful :)

Today I've come up with a summer outfit with some essentials I'm loving this season.

This is what I'm wearing:

Shoes- If you're into fashion you've probably seen this shoes a lot lately, they're on point! I fell in love when I saw them for the first time and as the shopaholic I am, I got a pair! Mine are from Ark clothing, an English shop. You should totally check their website, even if you're not from the UK you can get their stuff.. I got mine sent within a week! Personally, I really like their clothing and shoes line, it really is hard not to buy everything they have!
There are loads of types of these shoes, with different platforms, colours... but mine are this:

Dress- You might not believe me but I've had this dress for 6 years now! It's from Stradivarius and it's a simple little black dress. I really like it because I can wear it every season... During the winter I just put a jumper on so it looks like a skirt and during the summer I wear it simply with sandals! Also, it can be worn during the day and also to go out at night so it's a really versatile piece and kind of essential in my closet!

Kimono- My favourite thing in my closet this season, definitely! I got it as a birthday present from my girls, and it's from an English brand which we absolutely love: Missguided. They have the coolest things and as Ark, it is one of my favourite brands, you should go check their site!
During the summer I literally don't take my kimono off, I find it the most useful piece! You can wear it anytime and it gives any outfit a special touch. You can find all types of kimonos and in every colour!
Almost every brand or shop has a pair of three different kimonos!
Mine:

Bag- My bag is from Mango. It's a simple XL black bag, a must have as well! I wear it almost everyday since everything can fit in: books and notes to go to uni, makeup purse to go out, ipad, laptops... It is really useful and it also gives a trendy touch to any outfit. It looks cool with jeans, flats and a jumper as well as with a dress, skirt... It's really versatile!

Sunglasses- The classical John Lennon sunglasses! A key part to any day outfit and a must have since... Always! Mine are fake, if we are gonna be honest here lol, but they try to be like the RayBan model, the one everyone knows:

So... Here's my post about this summer outfit! I thought I'd share it with you.. I hope you liked it and you could get some inspiration from it!

Thanks for reading and if you have any suggestions on our next post, please tell us!

2. Winged eyeliner

Hello everyone!
If you know me you'll know I'm a big fan of winged eyeliner and cat eyes... However it's not something I'm mastered at (yet!), so if you, like me, aren't best pals with liquid eyeliner but love that cat eye look keep reading.

After looking for a good-easy to use-affordable eyeliner (does that even exists? Yes!) for ages a friend from the UK finally recommended me a "Collection" one that turned out to be my favourite eyeliner ever. It's the "Collection Extreme 24 Hour Felt Tip Liner" and you can find it in Boots or Superdrug around the UK and it costs less than 3£ (such a bargain!). It is a felt tip eyeliner really easy to use and it dries instantly once applied ao you don't have to wait with your eyes closed for ages nor end up with your eyelid covered in black like a panda. I also love that it's a nice black like it's really pigmented and it's a bargain so I like to stock up everytime I go to the UK!

However, if you don't live in the UK or can't travel/order on the internet I have an alternative for you! It's my go-to eyeliner when I run out of my Collection one! It's the "L'Oréal Super Liner perfect slim" and you can find it basically in any drugstore. It's a bit more expensive than the other one as it costs 7£ (which is around 8€). I don't find it expensive at all though since it works wonders and lasts ages! The only difference with the Collection one is that the felt tip is a bit alimmer, which is good i you want to get creative with your eye wings.

There's a third option for easy eye wings on a budget! It's the "KIKO Daring look eye marker", it's 7€ and you can find it in any KIKO store! (Thank you Nuria for the recommendation!)

So here it is! That's my secret for perfect eye wings! Hope you like the post and find it useful!

1. Festival inspiration

Hello everyone!
It's officially summer which means... Festival season!!!!! We're very very excited for it and we've already been taking inspiration from here and there, Coachella being one of the most enjoyable festivals to drool over. So wether you're going to a festival or just hanging around the beach having mojitos this summer... Read this post for some summery festivalish inspiration! We've sorted our outfit choices depending on musical styles... So whatever kinda music you're into... There's something suitable for you here! And just remember you can wear anything you want as long as you feel comfortable in it and like it, anyone else's opinions are irrelevant!
Rock
"All black everything" that's the key for rock looks. Since it's summer time though we thought it would be nice to add a bit of colour with a message flannel tied around the waist and some matte red lipstick of course!

Electro
Electro music calls for a more colourful outfit so we think a electric crop top with a pair of high waisted shorts are key for it. Some comfy sneakers so we can dance around, a scrunchie to give it a 90's vibe and get the hair out of our face and some vibrant colour lipstick et voilà!

Indie
Indie style consists on carefully choosing some of the latest trends and throwing them on in a way it looks like you aren't really bothered but are still cool if you know what I mean. So we thought a sunflowers' patterned top (a botton up patterned shirt would work just as well) with just some basic ripped jeans, chunky sandals, floppy hat and a vintage denim jacket in case it gets cold at night would be on point!

Folk
Now here is when you can get more inspired by Coachella's outfits. So if you find any excuse to go around barefoot, wear kimonos, croche, dip dye, gipsy jewellery and wavy mermaid hair with flowers on it... This is your para-para-paradiiise! You can get a bit crazy and go over the top with layering because that what it's about! Peace ouuuuuuuuuut!

Alternative
This is all about being comfy so throw on a dress that's not too short for you to be comfy, a flannel tied around your waist (ideal if you grab your dad's, boyfriend's, brother's or boy best friend's!) and a pair of All Stars of Birkenstocks and you're ready to go!

Hope you all liked this post...Now can someone take us to a festival? NOW?
