46. Current obsessions

Hi everyone!

Long time, no post! We missed blogging and you all! First of all, we wanted to wish you all our fellow bloggers A HAPPY NEW YEAR FILLED WITH LOTS OF HAPPINESS, LOVE AND HEALTH! Now the new year's started we're gonna get back to blogging! We're still busy with exams but we'll get back to blogging routine soon!

How's the festivities been? Hope you all had a lovely time!

I'm gonna tell you what I'm obsessed with at the moment:

1. Music

We've been obsessed with so many songs lately but these are our favourite ones:

-Vance Joy- Riptide

-Taylor Swift- Wonderland

-Sam Hunt- Leave the night on

-Hozier- Take me to church

2. Dr. Lipp nipple balm

This is literally the BESTEST lipbalm ever!!!!! I still use EOS lipbalms on a daily basis but I'm now using this lipbalm and it's so hydrating I don't even need to reapply once! Oh, and it isn't sticky!

3. "Before I go to sleep" by S. J. Watson

I read this book like two years ago and I loved it! I've been thinking about it lots lately and I just think it's amazing and a must read if you like thrillers! I was so hooked up!

4. Fluffy everything

I love everything fluffy! From clutches to hair scrunchies and jumpers! 

5. The Originals

I used to watch The Vampire Diaries and then The Originals but the first one got boring in my opinion so I stopped watching it... And did the same with the latter for some reason! I've restarted watching it during the holidays and I'm SO HOOKED!!!!! I mean Joseph Morgan!!!!!!! Daniel Sharman!!!!!! Their accents!!!!!!!!

6. Daniel Sharman

Of course there had to be a man in this list! I was obsessed with him because of Teen Wolf but his british accent and sassiness in The Originals has just made me love him even more!

7. Candles

I've always loved candles but winter makes me wanna lit candles 24/7! I love vanilla, cinnamon and sweet-scented ones!

8. Demi wispies by Ardell false lashes

I love looooong lashes (don't we all!?) and these are my all time favourite ones! They look natural as the band is transparent and they're a bit longer on the ends which looks very femenine on!

9. Magnitone Lucid by Pixie Lott

My skin has just improved a whole lot since I started using it! I had a skin care routine before but this is just one minute and I barely get spots!

10. Lush Snowfairy shower gel

What can I say? That is my favourite shower gel EVERRRRRRR! I'm just so sad it's a Christmas limited edition so I try to stock up every year!

41. Christmas tag

Hello hello! 

So, a few days ago we were nominated to do the Christmas tag by the lovely Liv and since we're very excited for the festive season we thought why not! Here's our answers to the questions provided:

1. What is your favourite Christmas Movie/s?

M: I'd say The Grinch and ELF but I LOVE Christmas movies! Also, does "Love Actually" count as one? Because then that's my number one! And The Holiday! It's just TOO beautiful!

C: I'd say Love Actually and The Holiday as well! Both of them are one of my fave and I'd count them as Christmas movies ;)

2. Do you open your presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas morning?

M: In the morning!!! I love that magical feeling and nervousness that makes me wake up early! 

C: In the morning as well! When I was little I used to stay up all night, I just couldn't sleep because of the excitement! Ahhhh love that feeling!

3. Do you have a favourite Christmas memory?

M: not one in particular but just getting together with all the family makes a whole lotta good memories! 

C: I remember my godfather used to dress up as Santa when I was little for me and my cousins and we loved it! Had so much fun!

4. favourite festive food?

M: Christmas soup (we eat Galets in Catalonia, google it) I always look forward to this! 

C: Yessss same as Mire! Christmas soup is my favourite!

5. Favourite Christmas gift ?

M: don't really have a fave but the ones that have notes on it/are personalized are the best ones for me always! 

C: I got my first guitar when I was 13 and that's my favourite Christmas gift ever, absolutely loved it :)

6. Favourite Christmas scent?

M: ahh just the scent of hot choccies and roasted chestnuts and the cold weather and festivities, I don't know if that makes sense but yeah hahah

C: I love the Christmas tree scent around the house mixed with aromatic candles!

7. Do you have any Christmas Eve traditions?
M: i have dinner with some of my uncles and my cousins and we eat and drink lots and end up singing karaoke and dancing like crazy before going home.

C: Same as M, we get together all the family, uncles, cousins, grandparents.. have dinner, drinks and just enjoy being together!

8. What tops your tree?
M: the same silver super glittery star that did when I was a lil' one! 

C: A gold glittery star, every year it's the same one!

9. As a kid what was the one (crazy, wild, extravagant) gift you always asked for but never received?
M: I don't really know! I was aware of what I could ask for and not and I'm lucky I used to get most things I did! I used to ask for an actual register machine though and never got it (was such a hard-working girl from a young age!)

C: I aaaaalways asked for a dog, I do still actually haha and neever got it and I never will, guess I will have to wait to have my own house for that!

10. What's the best part about Christmas for you?
M: having some lay ins (even tho I have to study for my finals which are in January mehh), going shopping with all the Christmas lights on and having Starbucks red cups and most importantly: getting to be with my whole family! Oh, and I absolutely love NYE celebrations! 

C: For me the best part is Christmas eve, getting all together with my family is my favourite part. I just love the tradition and seeing that even though time passes we still stick together no matter what!

1. What is your all time favourite beauty product?

M: woah! Such a tough one! I'd say my EOS balm or a moisturizer! 

C: I'd say lip gloss or lipbalm!

2. If you were to shop at only one store for the rest of your life, where would it be and why?

M: probably ASOS, because they have the lattest trends from many different brands and stock up everyday! 

C: probably H&M, never disappoints!

3. What is your favourite way to style your hair?

M: definitely wavy with volume or if I want something more made up a milky braid. 

C: I never do special things to my hair just dry it and let it take its shape!

4. A new product you're loving recently? (it can be anything!)

M: my Effaclar duo! Been having some break outs lately and this is helping me lots! 

C: My new pinky lip gloss from HM! I wear it everyday and I think it looks cute and it gives a baby touch to my normal grunge style!

5. Favourite nail varnish brand?

M: Kiko or Essie

C: Same as my girl! Kiko or Essie are the BEST!

6. What's your favourite make up brush to use for foundation?

M: Real Techniques foundation big brush even tho I think sanitized hands work perfect with some foundations.

C: I always use my hands! hahah

7. 3 beauty must haves?

M: a good mascara, concealer and moisturizer. 

C: concealer, mascara and nude eye shadow!

8. Would you rather go out on the town, or have a quiet night in?

M: I usually rather go out and have a massive partay until the sun comes out but I've been so tired lately I just wanted to stay home and be lazy. 

C: Go out on the town without any doubt!! But I also love quiet night in just watching movies, doing shisha, doing my nails and stuff!

9. What do you use to take your make-up off at the end of the day?

M: La Roche-Posay micelar water! 

C: Bioderma micelar water or just normal facial wipes, I find them sooo useful and easy, specially when you get home after a night out and you just want to get into bed!

10. Your favourite Christmas film?

M: tough one as well! I'd say either the Grinch or Elf! But Love Actually and The Holiday if we're counting them as Christmas films!

C: Love Actually!

34. Current obsessions

Hello yall lovely critters!

Yeat again we're with another post about our current obsessions... We're gonna try it do it monthly! We wanted to do it by the start of the month but just didn't get round to it! Hahaha Anyway, on to the beef, at the moment we're loving:

1. One Direction's "Ready to Run"

We love a bit of One Direction and this song is just insane! It sounds like "Happily" and "Strong" (which casually are our faves from their previous album) had a baby. It's got that feel-good, christmassy, indie vibe that we love with a bit of acoustic guitar and it just puts us in a great mood. To add up the lyrics are so damn beautiful!

2. Taylor Swift's "1989"

We've always loved Taylor and we weren't too keen on this musical change and on her going all 80's pop but we're actually loving it! "Blank space", "Style", "I wish you would"... We just can't pick a favourite! Such an amazing album with relatable lyrics and catchy melodies to dance to! Girl power!

3. Rimmel's Lasting Finish Foundation

We're both using it at the moment and we love it! It gives you a medium coverage and stage in place all day (we do use powder though) and leaves our skin looking flawless! We'll be repurchasing!

4. Pomegranate

It is such a drag having to peel it off, but oh boy, does it pay off! We love having it with yogurt for breakfast, or alone/with other fruits as an afternoon snack or putting it on our salads! It is delicious and antioxidant!

5. Dirty Burger

This UK burger restaurants' chain is just so good! If you love a good burger then just go for it!

6. Superdrug's 3x2 deal

Isn't it amazing walking into Superdrug with 22 pounds and coming out with 6 products?! We think it's the perfect opportunity to cross things out of our wish lists! Unfortunately, it's ending this month, so hurry up and grab some bits and bobs, don't miss out!

7, Jeffrey Campbell's SIGLING booties

These are very similar to the Doc Marten's but with a very chunky sole and Caro needs to get her hands on them... NOW! They're so rock'n'roll and cool!

8. Channel-like backpacks

We both own one of these backpacks... They're perfect for someone who's always carrying lots of stuff around like us but still wanna look classy!

9.Polaroids

Now again we both have instant cameras and we love them little polaroids!

10. Frank from How To Get Away With Murder

If you watch the show you'll probs agree with us... Thanks Frank for providing us eye candy on every single episode! We just recently found out he was on Buffy The Vampire Slayer, but he looks so different with the beard! HOTNESS! 

11. Vita Coco

Caro doesn't like coconut but I (Mire) absolutely love it and find this the bestest way to stay hydrated! It's so yummy and I love the pineapple one... Unreal!

12. Ribena

We're both obsessed! We like every. single. flavour and try to stock up everytime we're in the UK! And now the temperatures keep dropping we like it hot!

13. Jerome Jarre

He's gotta be our favourite international viner! That strong french accent and smile just make our heart warm! We just can't not laugh at his crazy vines, he's just so outgoing, funny and positive and loves to see people smiling!

14. Gracie Francesca (UglyFaceOfBeauty)

She's our favourite youtuber and blogger ever! She's so inspirational and funny and we just absolutely love her! And her style is so so on point! Ahhh!

15. Oxblood

This is our favourite colour apart from black and the fact that it goes with the season is just amazing! We love burgundy lips, boots, clothes, accesories... Just everything! And if it's also velvetty it's a win-win!

21. Autumn tag

Hi everyone!

We're currently on our train to Madrid to spend the weekend so we thought it'd be cool to upload a quick post. We found this cute tag on Ellie's blog and decided to do it!

1.  Ok we're talking coffee's - what's your favourite seasonal drink from Starbucks/Costa/Cafe Nero etc?

M: it's definitely the Pumpkin Spice Latte from Starbucks! So addicted! 

C: Chai tea latte, love it always!!

2.  Accessories - what do you opt for, scarf, boots, gloves?

M: mainly chunky boots and tartan scarf! Oh and hats, of course! 

C: aaalways a scarf and platform shoes!

3.  Music - what's your favourite music to listen to during Autumn?

M: I don't know, probably Ed Sheeran! His music makes me wanna snuggle up in a blanket and cuddle! 

C: Taylor Swift probably! I find autumn quite romantic so Taylor Swift music has to be the perfect choice :)

4.  Perfume - what's your favourite scent for this time of year?

M: I go for stronger scents than in the summer so I'd say right now it's J'adore by Dior.

C: Definitely Black XS by Paco Rabanne!

5.  Candles - what scents will you be burning this season?

M: Definitely vanilla (as usual!) and apples! 

C: Cinamon! 

6.  What do you love most about Autumn?

M: all the colours from the leaves, chestnuts and Halloween! It's just a really beautiful season! 

C: same as Mire here! Really love the colours and the weather, not too cold! Sweater weather!

7.  Favourite makeup look?

M: I love vampy lips the whole year around but I wear them basically everyday this season and I also love brown smokey eyes.

C: Black smokey eyes and nude lips! Sometimes dark lips are the perfect choice as  well though, depends on my mood!

8.  What are you looking forward to most in Autumn?

M: fall fashion and all of the concerts I'm going to! 

C: concerts and trips to Madrid which is happening this weekend and London next week!! :)

18. Current obsessions

Hi everyone!

We've decided we'll be posting about things we're obsessed about every once in a while. Whether it's music, beauty, fashion or food, we'll be talking about our 10 favourite things at the moment. So today we're showing you what we've been obsessing over for the last couple of weeks.

1. I'm not the only one- Sam Smith

Well we're obsessed with Sam Smith and his album in general but this song is on repeat all day errrrday. Soooooo good!

2. "Thinking out loud" video by Ed Sheeran

We know it's been a week since it was release but damn... We'd be watching it all day if we could, it's so sweet and emotional and Ed Sheeran is a beautiful human being and that song...

3. "How to get away with murder"

It's a new TV show and it only has 3 eps yet but we're totally obsessed! It's just too good and gets you on the edge for the whole episode. Murders, lawyers and Dean Thomas from Harry Potter? We're in! To add up we are crushing on hot teacher and lawyer Frank!

4. "Freak Show" the new American Horror Story season

Talking about TV shows of course we're obsessed with the new AHS season! It's so creepy but it's gonna be a good one! We love Jimmy Darling already I mean we'd stab people if he told us to! Not to mention classy diva Jessica Lange!

5. Chia seeds

These are considered a superfood as they're rich on most nutrients and we like to add them on literally everything from yogurts to salads to muffins! 

6. Rimmel London 128 Starry Red lipstick

Now it's not a secret we love a bit of oxblood and burgundy but now autumn's here all we want are vampy lips! It's Caro's new favourite lipstick!

7. Knee high boots

Mire had been obsessing over knee high and thigh high boots for awhile and had to get her hands on some so she couldn't resist her H&M pair! Not taking them off even if it's not that cold! 

8. Emma Watson's He for She speech

We're still obsessed with it! So inspiring and powerful! Awesome to see a famous, beautiful and young woman standing up for women.

9. Starbucks' "Pumpkin Spice Latte"

We finally god this god-tasting drink in Spain! It was about time! It tastes spicy and sweet so it's perfect for this time! Loving it!

10. Ben Affleck

Everyone loves Ben Affleck (okay, maybe not as Batman) but after watching Gone Girl we're even more in love (seriously go watch it, it's such a good, plot-twisting movie!).

15. We're looking forward to...

1. Our trip to Madrid

We love Madrid and we're going back there in a few days to see one of our best friends, go to a gig and party so we can't wait! 

2. London

Caro's going to London for Halloween and I'm going there by the start of December and we're both so excited! We miss our best friend who lives there, the city and our babes in London everyday! 

3. Halloween

I personally love Halloween, and cannot wait to watch all my favourite Halloween movies, eat chestnuts and dress up! 

4. Ed Sheeran's concert

Now this is something we've been looking forward to since forever and it's happening soon! We're gonna cry our eyes out... And gonna be heart eyes emoji for a while! 

5. New tattoos

We cannot wait to get inked again! We already have our designs just gotta get the appointment... 

5. Christmas

Who doesn't love Christmas?! We know it's a pretty superficial festivity and it's all about spending money but... Who cares because we get to spend time with our families! We also love Starbucks red cups, Christmas songs, seeing the city lights and getting to eat Christmas soup!
